Hello, my name is Kevin. I really enjoy my career and experience as a professional hair stylist for over 43 years. As a graduate of cosmetology from Cerritos College in 1979, I have seen trends come and go and return with new names and/or twists and/or variations! I have taken classes with Alan Benfield Bush, Paul Mitchell, Beth Minardi (when she was with REDKEN), Nick Arrojo and other specialty programs. I have worked with Wella, REDKEN 5th avenue for many years, as well as Keune, Schwarzkopf, 3 DeLuXe (Milan, Italy) and Nirvel Cosmetics s.I. (Spain). I have a very diverse group of guests, some have been coming to me for thirty years or more. I listen to what my clients expect and I work to help make them look their best with realistic expectations, taking into account their personality and their lifestyle! I am very honest and respectful to my guests’ end result! I am a color specialist; I do not chase avant-garde color trends, instead achieving a more natural result that doesn’t look “done”. However, if my guests want a more dramatic result, I can give them what they want. I love cutting hair and coloring hair, highlighting, lowlights, babylights, etc. Artistry. Trust. Integrity. That is who I am— that is what it’s all about.
